Normally Aspirated (NA) engines benefit the same as
engines on boost! This is accomplished with the two
KrankVents on the Turbo Kits page producing a
Crank Case (CC) Vacuum & eliminates CC
Pressure that often causes:
-
Blowing oil out of
the engine.
-
Fouled spark
plugs.
-
Reduced engine
performance.
-
Eliminates
‘ring flutter’ due to high CC pressure.
-
Power wasted
to further compress CC aerosol.
-
Exhaust smoke
caused by oil forced into intake track.
-
And many other
problems!!
All
without the use of mechanical vacuum pumps that rob
useable engine power, or “exhaust extractors” that
can actually pump exhaust gases into the engine if
not located at a low-pressure node in the exhaust
system!
Among
the many advantages of the CCVS are:
-
Usually several
percent increase in usable HP.
-
Smoother & harder
acceleration.
-
Greater fuel
economy.
-
Reduced emissions
due to greater ring seal.
-
Plus many others!
Racers
& Engine Builders:
Because of the many different types of
engines please contact ET (Cell: 805.895.2679 Pacific Time)
if you have questions about applications. This is
particularly true of engines using Cleveland and Dart
blocks, & some big block Chevy’s. The later can pull so much
CC vacuum, using the CCVS, that, if not equipped with
Hi-Perf crank seals, they sometimes “whistle”! Also, there
are several “Advanced” parameters that the CCVS allows you
to make use of.
At ET-Performance we have
helped Kart, Legend, Drag, Drifters, Desert racers, etc.
running 50 cc to twin supercharged V-12 engines improve
their performance! We can do the same for your race efforts
or daily ride!

The CCVS is Patent Pending.
