Metric Installation Instructions

SUCH AS:

YAMAHA ROAD STAR, HONDA’S, DUCATI’S, ATV’s, MX’rs, ROAD RACERS, BIG SINGLES, ETC.

LOCATE THE CRANK CASE BREATHER HOSE THAT COMES FROM THE CRANK CASE OR CYLINDER HEAD ROCKER/CAM COVER(S). IN MOST CASES, THIS HOSE ORIGINALLY TERMINATED AT THE AIR BOX & USUALLY IS A 3/8” OR 9 mm I.D. HOSE.

CONNECT THE KrankVent™ TO THIS HOSE. EITHER SPLICE THE KrankVent INTO THE BREATHER LINE OR CONNECT IT TO THE HOSE & VENT IT SOMEWHERE OUT OF SIGHT. (If airbox has Ram Induction – do not connect KV output to airbox) MAKE SURE THE END YOU CAN BLOW THRU (SMOOTH END) IS TOWARDS THE ENGINE. DO NOT KINK THESE HOSES. IF THERE IS A LINE THAT CONNECTS THE ENGINE TO THE OIL TANK, (THE REAR HOSE SHOWN BELOW) DO NOT CONNECT THE KrankVent TO THAT LINE…USE THE BREATHER LINE DESCRIBED ABOVE.

THE KrankVent IS SELF CLEANING. IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO CLEAN, USE ONLY WD-40 OR WASH IN SOAP & WATER. NO CARB OR BRAKE (HARSH) CLEANERS > NO POKING AT VALVE > NO HIGH PRESURE AIR > VOIDS WARRANTY!!

QUESTIONS? email with as much info. as possible (JPEG photos a big help) to: tech@krankvent.com
