Brake Vacuum Booster Valve

Gauge readings with original setup follow:

Left Gauge = Manifold Vacuum       Right Gauge = Canister Vacuum

Readings are at idle w/ hot cam.

  

Then, a 3000 rpm ‘blip’ of the throttle produced the following readings:


Note that canister vacuum is ~1.5 In Hg above manifold vacuum.
 

The Brake Vacuum Booster Valve is then installed in brake canister line as shown.

 

 Another 3000 rpm ‘blip’ of the throttle produced the following readings

Note that the manifold vacuum reads -9 In Hg at idle, about the same as before.
However, the brake canister vacuum registers just over -20 In Hg, more than double!!

 You’ll now find that you have much better control of the car; can go faster & deeper into turns before braking! This is especially true for autos like Ferrari’s that have an extremely small brake reservoir.

WARNING: Your brakes will be much more effective than you have been used to. Go slow until “new braking” is comfortable! We’ve spun out more than once testing this setup.
